The upper body is cut exceptionally close to minimise wrinkles and fabric movement, while the lower section provides the compression and support required to maintain huge power outputs throughout a time trial.

Long Sleeves for Speed

Long sleeves on a modern TT suit aren't there for warmth.

The arms are directly exposed to airflow when a rider is locked into the aero position. Extending specialist aerodynamic fabric further down the arm gives designers a much larger surface to manipulate that airflow than a conventional short sleeve suit.

That is why long sleeve skinsuits have become the standard at the highest levels of time trialling.

Please expect an extremely tight fit. A professional TT skinsuit is designed to fit correctly when the rider is bent forward in an aggressive racing position. It can feel unusually tight across the shoulders and torso when standing upright.
