After another release of some more EF kit, I had to complete my kit and get the windproof jacket and some mitts. Arrived in great condition, as described (used but excellent condition). My daughter appreciates the harbio again and thanks for the extra t shirt. Merry Christmas and a happy new year!

I’ve bought around a dozen pieces of kit from PKC over the last year or so and it’s always been brilliant - top notch gear in excellent condition, and for a fraction of retail.

I bought an EF Education Goretex Jacket in size S a month ago before and more recently a size M. Both were described as Used (excellent) which should have "minimal signs of wear" as per their website. While I was satisfied with the condition of the S, the M had stitching on both sleeve bands that had come undone, sharpie markings on the inside near the size indicator, and had gone through so many wash cycles the text on the tags inside were almost completely gone - as a result, the outer DWR layer was destroyed and the jacket was no longer even water proof. The max refund they wanted to give was $65 after multiple complaint emails, which reduced the price of the item to $265. I was definitely not satisfied with this given that the item was heavily worn and not functional as advertised. I was also given the offer to return the item but seeing as how I paid $33 in tariffs and $27 on shipping, I still would have lost money as a result of the sellers mistake. Overall I don't see how I could recommend buying from this seller when I received 2 items listed under the same quality but one with vastly worse wear in reality.
Hi Allen - thanks for the 5 star review it's always appreciated. Just wanted to clarify some points you make as you're being a little bit, shall we say, 'creative' with the truth here. The jacket itself was indeed in excellent condition and the stitching you mentioned was 3 loose stitches on one cuff. We offered for you to return the jacket and we would cover all return costs and we explained how to get a tax refund form UPS. You declined and stated you wanted money to get it fixed - which we paid you. You then said you wanted more money as the inside tag was faded which we explained happens after a single wash as is standard with Rapha garment Tags but again we offered a full refund and to cover your shipping costs. You refused and demanded more money - which we paid. You then stated for a third time you wanted even more money back and we explained this was not possible and to please return the jacket and we would cover all costs and refund you in full, Again you refused and said you wanted to keep the jacket so we gave you another $20 making it $100 USD now in total.
It's really odd for a jacket you describe as being in such bad condition how desperate you were to keep it.... Its almost as if you were just trying to scam as much money out of our little business as possible while still keeping a jacket you knew perfectly well was in excellent condition, Anyone who was that dissatisfied with a product would have jumped at a full refund. I dreamed for a long time to have a EF kit and thanks to Pro Kit Club this dream came true!
It was a little issue with the order but Paul solved in the best way, so I would give more than 5 stars if possible. Communication was great, tracking the order as well and it took about 15 days to receive the order in Italy, a reasonable time with reasonable shipping costs.
I will definitely purchase from them in future!

I know what your thinking why would I buy used pro cycling gear. Well it's a fraction of the cost of brand new gear, some of the stuff is brand new, and additionally you get to try all sorts of padding and variables to find out what works best for you! I love the value, I love the store, and I love how hyped they are about their own products or collections. Maybe one day I'll spring for the T-rex, but for now the window shopping is always superb as well!
