The wider Team GB kit was issued around a rider approximately 173 cm and 64 kg, but hand size varies considerably between riders of identical height and weight, so these measurements should not be relied upon for glove sizing.

Winter cycling gloves should fit securely without being excessively tight. A glove that is too tight can compress the insulating layers and restrict circulation, reducing warmth.
